Emails from the past

Do you still have old emails that you just leave it there  in inbox and never deleted it?

Well I do.

I was deleting my current emails that I had read.

And while doing that, saw all those old emails .

Emails from my Jakarta life.

Some are still there as it has attached documents.

Some are just links that were given by previous teachers.

A feeling of sadness swept inside me suddenly.

I remember my life there.

I remember my early life there where our maids kept on quiting at their on wills and wishes.. leaving me to juggle house chores and 2 kids schooling and  Alya who was just below aged 3 years old.

I remember the good friends I made . Either at school or at my kelas pengajian.

I remember all our supir who each has its own stories and characters that we had to handle with.

I remember my ever friendly helpful neighbors.  But Maggie and Pak Christ.

I remember my landlord who was also my nextdoor neighbor.  Bu Evi.

I remember the ever ready and helpful house boy that lives in the landlord house after our landlord moved out to a new house.

I remember Pasar Moderan Bintaro Sektor 9 . A wet n dry market that has coffee shops, clothes shops, small food stalls, goldsmith, tailor shop, goodies shops, curtain shops and of course the fish, chicken n meat and vegetables.

I remember Lot 9 . The place where we had our coffee morning and farewells for BSJ moms. Also it's the place where my family always go for weekend breakfast.

I remember Masjid Bintaro Jaya where me and family learn our Alquran and also other Islamic teaching. A place where we did our solat sunat raya haji in the wide open space of the parking lot. A treasure humble experience none that I can get in Malaysia.

And I am feeling sad now as its an endless list that I have .. there is a lot more that i remember..
